So I'm like 3 weeks in and I've finally started doing some video stuff.
Recently I've started editing a demo reel for an actress. I also went on a shoot with them to film stuff for actors demo reels which was very interesting.
At first I was told I was going to be doing lighting and basically gaffing the shoot, but that turned out to not be anywhere close to the truth haha. I ended up being PA which really I didn't mind but what bothered me was that I ended up having to hold a dog for like 3 hours because it wouldn't stop barking when it was put in a bedroom and we couldn't have it walking around. So I basically sat down on a couch and held this Chihuahua for 3 hours.
I guess I have an interesting PA story so that's a way of looking at it. The rest of the shoot when I wasn't dog sitting I was just trying to find stuff to do which basically meant me reading the room and when something needed to be done I jumped on it because I was asked or before someone else did it.
But like in my first post most of my time as been put into doing graphics to help promote different acting classes they have and other events they are hosting.
So far I've worked a total of 20hrs.
